Social Trail Run in Epping Forest

Muslim Runners organises a community social trail run at the Epping Forest Visitor Centre at Chingford on Sunday, July 5, 2026. The event takes place in person and is scheduled to last about 2 hours 45 minutes.

Participants are divided into pace groups and a walking group to match different continuous distances and pace preferences:

  • Pace Group 1: suitable for runners comfortable running at least 6.5K continuously.
  • Pace Group 2: suitable for runners comfortable running at least 3K continuously.
  • Walking Group: 30 minute gentle walk.

Parking is available in nearby Epping Forest car parks. Named nearby car parks include Royal Forest Hotel, Barn Hoppit Car Park, and Bury Road Car Park; attendees are advised to check locations and any charges in advance. A bag drop is available during the event.

After the run there is coffee and breakfast at Butlers Retreat, 12 Ranger's Road, London E4 7QH. The event is organised by Muslim Runners and uses the Epping Forest Visitor Centre at Chingford as its meeting location. The listed ticket price for the event is free. Trail runs nearby

An off-road measured 5K at Westley Heights Country Park, Race 3 of the seven-event Crown to Crown series, run mainly on bridleways with basic race services and TRA licensing.

A flexible 6-hour timed run along the flat, scenic Jubilee River near Slough. Run as many laps as you like on the 5.24-mile course, with everyone receiving a finisher's medal. The route offers countryside views and a riverside path.

A seven hour timed Chasing Numbers event on 12 June 2026 in Egham with a signed lap course along the River Thames. Finishers from 3 km receive a medal and goody bag and distance pins are available for longer achievements.

A flexible Friday run along the Thames. Choose your start time and your distance, from a 5k lap to an ultra. It's a smaller event with a lower fee, but you still get one of the famous Phoenix medals.
