Midsummer Munro - Half Marathon

The event is a half marathon held on 28 June 2026 at Box Hill Fort, at the top of Box Hill in Tadworth, Surrey (KT20 7LB). The route has a total height gain and loss of more than 3,000 feet, an amount the organiser equates with a Scottish Munro and describes as an "ultra-half." Parking is available in the National Trust carpark; parking is free for National Trust members.

Most of the course runs on rough tracks and includes extended climbs and descents. The route passes locations that offer views over the North Downs, the Mole Gap, Denbies Vineyard, and Dorking. The organiser describes the event as intended for very hearty man fellows and lady fellows, reflecting the sustained elevation change and rough underfoot conditions. The description focuses on the physical demands of the terrain and the landscape visible from the route rather than on separate race categories or services.
