Beyond London
Beyond London is a trail running event in Greater London offering two route choices and on-course support. The event follows sections of the Capital Ring footpath and stays largely off main roads, passing parks, woodland, disused railway lines and familiar London landmarks.
Distances available:
- 55 km Ultra Marathon
- 25 km Trail Run
Both routes are fully signed and chip-timed. The event provides feed stations, medical support, toilets at feed stations, finish line refreshments, a GPX file of the route, Wild Deer merchandise and a bespoke finisher medal. There are three feed stations on the 55 km route (at about 14.3 km, 28.7 km and 45 km) and one feed station on the 25 km route (about 16 km). A bag drop is available at both start locations and collection is at the finish (Richmond Rugby Club). The stated finish location for the event is Old Deer Park, Richmond, and the start locations are Dial Arch Square, Woolwich for the 55 km and Upper Norwood Recreation Ground for the 25 km. Entry fees shown range from £40 to £60. The event notes a 6:00 pm cut-off time when pack down at the finish will begin and course signage may be removed as sweeps follow the last runners.
