Beyond London
Beyond London is a trail running event in the capital organised by Wild Deer Events, offering two measured route options that leave the busy streets for green spaces and quieter trails.
- 55 km Ultra - follows London's Capital Ring; starts Woolwich; finishes Richmond Green.
- 25 km Trail Run - section of Capital Ring via Wimbledon Common and Richmond Park.
The routes run through parks, woodland, footpaths, disused railway lines and quieter corners of the city, with occasional views of the London skyline and several well known landmarks such as Eltham Palace. Both routes are fully signed and supported on course.
Both distances have different start locations and share the same finish at Richmond Green. A bag drop is available at each start and bags are transported to the finish for collection. The 55 km route includes three feed stations, and the 25 km route includes one; all feed stations have toilets and first aid. The event provides a GPX file of the route, chip timing, medical support, finish refreshments, a bespoke finisher's medal and Wild Deer merchandise.
Start locations are served by rail, bus and Tube links; parking cannot be guaranteed at start or finish locations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
