The 55 km race starts in Woolwich and the 25 km race starts at Upper Norwood. Both distances finish in Richmond upon Thames, close to Richmond railway station and bus routes. Entry includes a finishers' medal and chip timing.

Course and support

Both routes follow parts of the Capital Ring footpath and use city footpaths, parks, woodland trails, canal paths and disused railway lines. Notable locations on the routes include Eltham Palace, Wimbledon Common and Richmond Park. The organiser describes some sections as having steps and notes parts may be muddy depending on weather.

The 55 km route is listed as approximately 73% paved and 27% unpaved, and the 25 km route as approximately 74% paved and 26% unpaved. The 55 km course has three feed stations; the 25 km course has one feed station. GPX files are available for download. The route is fully signed and supported with feed stations offering food and drinks, medical support, and event marshals. There are strict cut off points on the course at the Chevening Hub (Upper Norwood) and at the entrance to Richmond Park (Robin Hood Gate). Age limits apply: 20 or over for the 55 km and 18 or over for the 25 km. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
