Beyond London Ultra Trail Runs

Beyond London is a trail running event organised by Wild Deer Events that offers two route options:

  • 55 km Ultra Marathon following parts of the Capital Ring footpath.
  • 25 km Trail Run following part of the Capital Ring footpath.

Both routes are fully signed and supported with feed stations, and they focus on off-road trails, footpaths, parks, woodland and disused railway lines across Greater London. The 55 km route passes points such as Eltham Palace and Richmond Park, and the 25 km route visits areas including Wimbledon Common and Richmond Park. Both routes aim to avoid main roads and highways where possible.

Race services listed for participants include a bespoke finisher medal, Wild Deer merchandise, chip timing, GPX route files, medical support, feed stations with toilets and first aid, and finish line refreshments. A bag drop is available at both start locations with collection at the finish. Start locations are Dial Arch Square, Woolwich SE18 6GH for the 55 km and Upper Norwood Recreation Ground, Chevening Road SE19 3TE for the 25 km. The shared finish is Old Deer Park, Old Palace Lane, Richmond TW9 1PQ. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
