Beyond London Ultra Trail Runs

Beyond London offers two organised trail events through parts of Greater London following sections of the Capital Ring footpath. The event provides a choice of 55 km and 25 km routes, with starts in Woolwich and Upper Norwood and a shared finish planned at Old Deer Park, Richmond (finish location to be confirmed for 2027).

The 55 km route moves off the main roads onto footpaths, parks, woodland and disused railway lines, and passes landmarks such as Eltham Palace and Richmond Park. The 25 km route follows part of the same inner circle and includes views across Wimbledon Common and Richmond Park. Both routes are fully signed and supported.

Feed provision and safety: the 55 km course has three feed stations with toilets and first aid at Vista Field Children’s Centre (around 14.3 km), Upper Norwood Recreation Ground (around 28.7 km) and Wimbledon Common (around 45 km). The 25 km course has one feed station at Wimbledon Common (around 16 km). A bag drop is available at both start locations with collection at Richmond Rugby Club.

Event services include a bespoke finisher medal, Wild Deer merchandise, chip timing, a GPX route file, medical support and finish line refreshments. Entry fees are listed from £40 to £60. Start and finish locations are noted as well connected by rail, bus and Tube; parking cannot be guaranteed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
