Dinton 5km & 10km Summer Series

Barnes Fitness stages a four event summer series at Dinton Pastures Country Park near Reading. The 2026 dates are Thursday 14 May, Thursday 18 June, Thursday 16 July and Thursday 13 August. The series is in its fifteenth year and runs across four months.

The route is an off road, traffic free loop around the country park and is described as very flat. The 5 km option is one lap of the course and the 10 km option is two laps. The kids 2 km race is an out and back course with marshals positioned so children are always in sight.

Event features include an inclusive atmosphere, chip timing with instant results, knowledgeable marshals, clear course signage, metal medals, awards for podium and age group winners, on site first aid and safeguarding, free event photos after the race and free fruit at the finish. New for 2026 is a £5 flat rate parking fee that can be pre booked to cover one vehicle. Entrants aged over 16 are offered one free session at Shredquarters Twyford. Trail races of Half Marathon, 10K and 5K run from Marlow Rugby Union Football Club on 28 June 2026, using marked off road routes through the Thames Valley countryside with marshals, chip timing and race photos.
