Royston In Blue is an off-road event hosted on Therfield Heath in Royston, Hertfordshire. The event consists of a 5 km fun run or walk designed for adults, children, and families. Participants complete two laps over a course composed of grass and trails.

Course Details

The undulating route is set entirely off-road. Because the terrain includes grass and trails, the course is not suitable for wheelchairs. There are no distance markers placed along the route. The entry limit for the event is 700 participants.

Facilities and Fundraising

The event serves as a fundraiser for the Teenage Cancer Trust. Facilities available at the site include toilets and water stations. There are no changing facilities, showers, or baggage storage areas provided at the Race HQ on Baldock Road. During the registration process, participants choose a t-shirt size, ranging from young children's sizes to adult XXL.

A 10 km two lap trail race in Epping Forest, Chingford on 29 March 2026. The undulating multi terrain course is chip timed, has a water station at 5 km and distance markers each kilometre, and awards a finisher medal.

Experience a mini version of the backyard ultra format on a hilly trail course. Complete six yards with a special marathon distance challenge to receive a bespoke memento and local refreshments.
