Enigma Fireworks : event overview

Enigma Fireworks takes place on 6th and 7th November 2026 at the Premier Inn, Lakeside Grove, Caldecotte, Milton Keynes (MK7 8HP). The organiser stages marathons and half marathons around Caldecotte Lake. Route descriptions are issued at the event location.

Race format and logistics

Each marathon is run clockwise over 7½ laps of Caldecotte Lake. Each half marathon is run clockwise over 3½ laps of Caldecotte Lake. There are mandatory race briefings ten minutes before each race. A route description is provided at registration on site.

Limits, support and entries

The marathon has a hard time limit of 7:00 hours; finishers over this limit are recorded as DNF. The half marathon time limit is 4:00 hours. All finishers receive a unique bespoke medal. Race support includes a starter, timekeeper, race referee, a large pub car park, and water and toilets available every lap of the lake course. Participants must wear suitable clothing and footwear. The event is held in accordance with 100 Marathon Club rules. Entry fees are £39.99 for each marathon and £34.99 for each half marathon. There are no refunds; entries may be deferred up to seven days before the event and must be used within 18 months. Participants must be 18 years or over. Trail runs nearby

Tackle 26.3 miles around Colworth Estate with five scenic laps of gently undulating trail and lanes, including woodland paths and narrow sections. Friendly club facilities, cup free so bring your own bottle, 30 November in Sharnbrook.

Support Hospice of St Francis at the Wild Christmas Charity Run, a guided 8km trail or 4km family walk from Church Farm Cafe. Enjoy a mince pie with entry, optional fancy dress and limited places so book early.

Run a scenic 10 mile trail around Grafham Water, weaving through woodland, Dragonfly Pond and Sanctuary Bay before a final mile along the dam wall. Canicross runs in a separate wave so you can bring your dog on a lead.

Enjoy a festive run through Salcey Forest's tree lined trails with 10k, 5k and a junior fun run supporting Shelter. Expect mixed terrain, bespoke medals, free photos and a prize for best seasonal fancy dress.
