Enigma Fireworks

Enigma Fireworks is a two day running meeting held on 6 and 7 November 2026 at the Premier Inn area beside Caldecotte Lake in Milton Keynes. Each day features a marathon and a half marathon, both run clockwise around the lake on multi-lap courses.

Distances offered

• Marathon: 7.5 scenic laps of Caldecotte Lake (clockwise)
• Half marathon: 3.5 scenic laps of Caldecotte Lake (clockwise)

Course descriptions are provided at the event location. Race briefings are mandatory ten minutes before each race. There is on-course support including a starter, timekeeper, race referee, a large pub car park, and water and toilets on every lap of the lake course. Equipment guidance lists suitable clothing and footwear.

Time limits are enforced: marathons have a hard cutoff of 7 hours with finishers over this time recorded as DNF, and half marathons have a 4 hour limit. All finishers receive a bespoke medal.

The event is held in accordance with 100 Marathon Club rules. Entry fees are noted as £39.99 for each marathon and £34.99 for each half marathon. The organiser does not issue refunds; entries may be deferred up to 7 days before the event to another Enigma event and deferred entries must be used within 18 months.
