Enigma Fireworks : event overview

Enigma Fireworks takes place on 6th and 7th November 2026 at the Premier Inn, Lakeside Grove, Caldecotte, Milton Keynes (MK7 8HP). The organiser stages marathons and half marathons around Caldecotte Lake. Route descriptions are issued at the event location.

Race format and logistics

Each marathon is run clockwise over 7½ laps of Caldecotte Lake. Each half marathon is run clockwise over 3½ laps of Caldecotte Lake. There are mandatory race briefings ten minutes before each race. A route description is provided at registration on site.

Limits, support and entries

The marathon has a hard time limit of 7:00 hours; finishers over this limit are recorded as DNF. The half marathon time limit is 4:00 hours. All finishers receive a unique bespoke medal. Race support includes a starter, timekeeper, race referee, a large pub car park, and water and toilets available every lap of the lake course. Participants must wear suitable clothing and footwear. The event is held in accordance with 100 Marathon Club rules. Entry fees are £39.99 for each marathon and £34.99 for each half marathon. There are no refunds; entries may be deferred up to seven days before the event and must be used within 18 months. Participants must be 18 years or over.
