The Bishop's Stortford Mitre is a road race day organised by The Bishop's Stortford High School on Sunday 5 July 2026 at Jobbers Wood, Great Hadham Road, Much Hadham, Herts SG10 6FB. The event is a community fundraiser for the Mitre Fund, a registered charity raising money for new school community sports facilities. The event is sponsored by Nockolds Solicitors.

The 10k and 5k routes are professionally measured, chip timed courses. Both races start and finish at Jobbers Wood sports ground and pavilion and follow a circuit through country lanes to Much Hadham and back on traffic-free roads. The courses include some undulation. The 1K race takes place at Jobbers Wood straight after the 10k and 5k races; medals are provided for all 1K participants and certificates for the winners.
Entry fees range from £20 to £27 (GBP). Age limits are set for the longer races: entrants must be 15 or over for the 10k and 11 or over for the 5k on 05/07/2026. Race packs are available for collection on Saturday 4 July or from the event on race day. The event offers a free finisher T-shirt or an option to have a tree planted, organised warm-up, refreshments, free parking and trophies in several categories.
