Event Overview
TrailFest - Salcey Forest is a multi-distance trail running event taking place at Salcey Forest, a Forestry England site near Northampton. The event offers four distances: 10 km, half marathon, marathon, and 50 km.
Course Details
The routes use well-maintained forest pathways. The surface is primarily crushed stone or well-trodden forest floor, with no asphalt except for two road crossings on the longer routes. If conditions are wet, some sections over grassland may be soft. The event is cupless, meaning participants must bring their own cup or bottle for drinks at aid stations.
