TrailFest - Salcey Forest is a multi-distance trail running event at Salcey Forest, Northamptonshire, scheduled for 28/06/2026. The event offers four distances:

Routes use well maintained forest paths, mainly crushed stone or compacted forest floor, with no asphalt except two road crossings on the longer routes. Practical details

The event is run under a UK Athletics / Trail Running Association license and does not allow dogs. Cut-offs are generous: the 50 km event uses an 11-hour cut-off and other distances use a 10-hour window. Mandatory and recommended kit varies by distance: there is no mandatory kit for 10K but a cup or bottle for water is strongly recommended; there are no disposable cups on site. For half marathon, marathon and 50 km a cup or bottle holding at least 200 ml is mandatory. A foil blanket and a charged mobile phone are strongly advised. Finishers receive a medal and a choice of Big Bear drink. Entry fees follow a tiered pricing structure; unaffiliated entrants pay £2 extra and club or brigade discounts are noted in the event information.
