TrailFest - Salcey Forest
TrailFest - Salcey Forest is a multi-distance trail running day on Sunday 27 June 2027 at Salcey Forest, NN7 2HX, a Forestry England site near Northampton with a café and toilets.

Routes use well maintained forest pathways with mainly crushed stone or trodden forest floor. There is no asphalt on the course except two road crossings used by the longer events. The course is fully marked and runs away from the main visitor centre onto quieter forest sections. Ground can be hard under dry conditions and sticky or slippery after heavy rain. A light trail shoe is suggested though road shoes may be adequate in typical conditions.
The event is cupless at aid stations; there are no disposable cups provided. Runners are advised to bring a cup or bottles. Organisers suggest carrying a cup, bottles, a foil blanket and a mobile phone, but there are no mandatory kit checks.
Entry fees are tiered by booking date. Examples of listed fees are: 10K £20 before 27/05/2027 and £25 after; half marathon £35/£40; marathon £51/£56; 50 km £62/£72. Unaffiliated entrants pay £2 extra.
