The Trail Run at Sly Park - Fall takes place at the Sly Park Recreation Area in Pollock Pines, California. This seasonal event is held under a special use permit with the El Dorado National Forest. Course Details
The 5K and 10K are out-and-back courses. The 8 Mile distance consists of one complete loop around Jenkinson Lake on hiking trails. Longer distances, such as the 17 Mile, Trail Marathon, and 50K, involve multiple loops around the lake using a combination of hiking and horse trails in both counterclockwise and clockwise directions.
Facilities and Support
The event center serves as the hub for registration and check-in. Aid stations are located at the start/finish area and the Hazel Creek area, though the 5K and 10K participants do not pass the Hazel Creek station. Water stops and drop bag services are available for specified distances. Restrooms are located at the event center, near the parking areas, and at various points along the course within the campgrounds.
