The Auburn Half Marathon is a trail running event on the Western States Trail organized by Brazen Racing on September 27, 2026. Races start at Auburn Overlook park and route runners into the Auburn State Recreation Area.

Runners receive custom finisher medals and t shirts. All races are professionally timed with electronic chip timing. Hikers and walkers are welcome to participate.
The event takes place in Gold Country just off Highway 80. The nearby historic Old Town and Downtown districts feature museums, art galleries, breweries, restaurants and shopping. Volunteer photographers provide event photos and official results are published after the race.
