Urban Trail Series

The Urban Trail Series is a set of organised trail races run by Trail Outlaws on local trails in the North East. Events are fully marked and marshalled and include prize awards for the winners of each race. The series lists a venue of Biddick Academy NE38 8AL for one event and includes other local locations across the programme.

The series offers a range of distances and entry options. Entry fees shown for the series range from around £20 up to about £116 for a season ticket that covers all events and includes a discount plus a free presentation evening later in the year. Individual race entries are available for specific distances and dates.

Distances available in the series include:

  • 5K
  • 10K
  • 10 mile
  • Half marathon

Races specify minimum age limits for individual events and offer varied terrain across coastal and countryside routes. Courses are signposted and supported by marshals; reviews note parking and venue facilities at some venues. The series format allows entrants to enter individual races or purchase a season ticket that covers the full set of events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
