Location and travel

Blackton Grange Estate is in the North Pennines, about 20 minutes west of Barnard Castle. The site is remote and rural; public transport is extremely limited, so driving is recommended. Directions given include using the A1(M) to the A66 at Scotch Corner, then west towards Barnard Castle and following signs for Cotherstone and Baldersdale. The estate is signposted from that route.
