Wingerworth Wobble
The Wingerworth Wobble is a trail race based at Deer Park Primary School, Wingerworth (S42 6TD). The event covers 4.66 miles on an undulating course that uses footpaths across fields, hills, woodland trails and short road sections. The route is marked and marshalled, and the finish chute is on a runnable hill. All finishers receive a medal. Free car parking is available at The Barley Mow pub and on adjoining estate roads. Refreshments are included in the entry cost and a post-race raffle raises funds for Deer Park Primary School and other local causes. The race is held under permit from the Association of Running Clubs.
Entry and practical information
Entries open 19 November 2025 and close 21 February 2026. The minimum age is 16 or older. Entry fees shown are UKA Member £15.00 and Non Member £17.00, and entries are managed through the SiEntries system. The event notes that presentation and prizes take place back at race headquarters after runners complete the race.
