The Wingerworth Wobble is a trail race held on 28 February 2026 with Race HQ at Deer Park Primary School, Wingerworth (S42 6TD). The event is run under permit from the Association of Running Clubs. The minimum age for entry is 16.

Course and support

The course is an undulating 4.66 mile route south of Wingerworth. It includes a mixture of footpaths across fields, hills, woodland trails and short road sections. The route is marked and marshalled. The finish chute is on a runnable hill. All finishers receive a medal. Refreshments are provided after the race and there is a raffle; presentation and prizes take place back at race headquarters.

Entries and logistics

Entries open 19 November 2025 and close 21 February 2026. Entry fees listed are £15 for UKA members and £17 for non-members. Free car parking is available at The Barley Mow pub and on adjoining estate roads. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
