Event

The Wingerworth Wobble is a trail race held on Saturday 28 February 2026. The course is 4.66 miles long and runs through countryside south of Wingerworth. The route mixes footpaths across fields, hills, woodland trails and short road sections. The course is marked and marshalled, and the finish chute is located on a runnable hill. All finishers receive a medal. The event is held under permit from the Association of Running Clubs.

Practical information

Race headquarters is Deer Park Primary School, Wingerworth, S42 6TD. Free car parking is available at The Barley Mow pub and on adjoining estate roads. Refreshments are included in the entry cost and there is a post-race raffle raising funds for Deer Park Primary School and other local causes. Presentation and prizes take place at race headquarters after runners complete the race.

Entries open Wednesday 19 November 2025 and close Saturday 21 February 2026. The event minimum age is 16. Entry fees are listed as UKA member £15.00 and non-member £17.00.
