The Ultra Bird takes place Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Pigeon Creek County Park in West Olive, MI (12524 Stanton Street). Race formats include timed and fixed-distance options:

Prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each event. The event includes a Ruck Challenge that requires a rucksack or weighted vest of at least 20 lbs for ruck entries. Proceeds support the Egress Endurance Project, Gateway Mission, and The 90 Veteran Organization. Registration closes October 29, 2025.

Course and logistics

All events start and finish at the Pigeon Creek Ski Lodge and use a well groomed 5 km loop on the park trails. Elevation gain per loop is about 165 ft, with one larger steady climb and a big downhill each loop. The park remains open to the public during the event; trails will be marked and signage will be used.

Parking is available on-site within walking distance of the start/finish. There will be an aid station at the start/finish, drop bag location, hydration, pre-packaged trail snacks, and toilets. Pacers are allowed for the 12-hour and 6-hour events. 12-hour and 6-hour participants are required to carry a headlamp.
