Lake Michigan RTS

The Lake Michigan RTS is a 10k race that combines three types of terrain: road, trail, and sand. The course runs along the Lake Michigan shoreline. The event is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, July 11, 2026, in Laketown Township, Michigan.

The start and finish lines are at the same location, at the intersection of 142nd Ave and 66th St. Parking opens one hour before the start.

Participants must carry their own water, as there is no on-course water provided. Water is available to fill bottles at the start and at the finish line. All proceeds from the race benefit the P.O.R.T. (Pediatric Oncology Resource Team) program through the Corewell Health Helen DeVos Children's Hospital Foundation.

Each participant receives a premium event sweatshirt and a designer medal. Awards are given to the top three male and female participants in the categories of Overall, Masters, and Age Groups.

Registration transfers to another person are permitted, but refunds and deferrals are not accepted. Participants under 16 years old are discouraged from taking part. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
