The Shippey Endurance Runs
The Shippey Endurance Runs take place at the Beaumont Scout Reservation near High Ridge, MO on January 16-17, 2027. The event offers multiple trail race distances, onsite indoor camping with shower and bathroom access for limited spaces, and nearby lodging and dining options in Eureka, Fenton, and Valley Park.
The course runs on wooded, rolling terrain with steep climbs, ridgeline sections, long and short steep descents, creek bottoms, pine floors, and jeep roads. The surface is approximately 75% single or double track and 25% jeep roads. The course direction alternates each year, running clockwise on odd years and counterclockwise on even years. There are two indoor aid stations and on-course hydration is supplied by a local provider.

- 25K (15.5 mi) w/ 2,300' ascent/descent
- 20.15 mi w/ 3,000' ascent/descent
- 50K (31 mi) w/ 4,600' ascent/descent
- 40.7 mi w/ 6,000' ascent/descent
- 100K (61 mi) w/ 9,000' ascent/descent
- 101.7 mi w/ 15,000' ascent/descent
Pacers must register and are not allowed for the 40M, 50K, 20M, or 25K. Pacers may join solo 100-mile and 100K runners after 40 miles. Drop bags are allowed at the two aid stations with size limits. Parking guidance asks crews to carpool and, for certain distances, to park at Cub World and walk about 0.3 miles to the Emerson start/finish area.
The event lists distance-specific swag and awards, multi-directional awards for completing the same distance in both directions, and mileage-based recognition for cumulative miles.
