Rockin' Rockwoods 53K and Half Marathon

Rockin' Rockwoods is the 12th annual trail race held on September 26, 2026 at Greensfelder County Park in Wildwood, Missouri. The event is presented by Terrain Trail Runners and includes trail, ruck, and ultra distance options. Registration closes September 13, 2026.

The courses run primarily on the Green Rock Trail with about 95% single track. Terrain varies from hard pack dirt to loose rock, with roots, creek crossings, steep grades, and rolling technical sections. The 53K combines two out and back sections with approximately 5,200 feet of elevation gain. The half marathon and ruck course is an out and back with approximately 2,200 feet of elevation gain.

There are four manned aid stations stocked with water, electrolyte drinks, gels, snacks, and basic first aid. Distances between aid stations average about 5.5 miles, with no segment greater than approximately 7.5 miles. The event practices a cup free policy; runners are expected to carry their own drinking receptacle and post race mess kit.

Race registration includes swag and finisher items such as a custom cotton blend hoodie and a handmade medal. Post race food and one drink are provided to runners and volunteers. Awards are given to overall male, female, and non binary finishers in the 53K and half marathon. The race partners with the Trail Mix Fund to subsidize registration for those who cannot afford it.
