Rockin' Rockwoods 53K and 1/2 Marathon

Rockin' Rockwoods is an annual trail race held on September 26, 2026 in Greensfelder County Park, 4515 Hencken Road, Wildwood, MO. The event is presented by Terrain Trail Runners and includes multiple simultaneous trail distances.

Distances

• 53K - two out and back sections, approx 5,200 ft elevation gain
• 1/2 Marathon - out and back, approx 2,200 ft elevation gain
• 1/2 Marathon RUCK - rucking division on the half marathon course

The course follows the Green Rock Trail and is mostly single track with rocks, roots, creek crossings, hard pack dirt and loose uneven rock. Terrain includes steep grades and rolling technical sections. The final time limit for all distances is 10 hours. Aid is provided at four manned aid stations stocked with water, electrolyte drink, gels, snacks and first aid; station spacing averages about 5.5 miles with no gap greater than about 7.5 miles. Restrooms are at the start finish and at the turn around aid station.

The race participates in the Trail Mix Fund to help cover registration for runners who cannot afford it. The event is cup free; runners should bring their own drinking receptacle and a mess kit for post race food. Race registration guarantees a custom cotton blend hoodie if registered by August 23 2026 and includes a custom finisher medal and post race food and beer.
