The Labor Day Slay is a trail running event scheduled for August 29, 2026 in Queeny Park, St Louis, MO (1675 South Mason Rd, 63131). The event offers multiple distances on a shared, marked loop course that runs through the park trails. Distances offered include:

The 5K is one lap, the 10K and 10K Ruck are two laps, and the Half Marathon is four laps. All distances use the same course and start together. Aid stations are provided on course at approximately three-mile intervals.

The event includes professional chip timing, chipped bibs with instant results, and a marked route with recorded splits. Packet pickup is held on race morning from 6:15 until 7:15. All finishers receive a finisher medal and medal lanyard. Age-group awards are given to the top three in the following bands: 1-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Additional race items listed for registrants include a drawstring backpack, a soft spun commemorative T-shirt (guarantee applies to early registrants), snacks and drinks, and free event photos and finish-line video available for download.
