Event Overview
The Labor Day Slay is a running event held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Queeny Park in St. Louis, Missouri. The event features four different race options.
Race Distances
The event includes four separate races:
- 5k
- 10k
- Half Marathon
- 10K Ruck
All races start together from Racers Village at the Smith Pavilion. The course uses the park's trails. The 5k is one lap, the 10k and 10K Ruck are two laps, and the Half Marathon is four laps. An aid station is available every lap, which is approximately every 3.25 miles. The course is fully marked.
Event Details
All participants receive a finisher's medal. Awards are given to the top three finishers in various age groups for each race distance. Packet pick-up is on race morning. A commemorative T-shirt is included for those who register by a certain date. Professional chip timing is provided. Post-race, free action photos and finish line video are available for download.
