Triple Crown 10K Night Trail Run Series

The Triple Crown is a three-week series of 10K night trail races held in the St. Louis West County area with events hosted at different trail systems around Wildwood, MO. Each week increases the hill challenge so runners cover steady climbs while navigating trails after dark with a headlamp.

The three individual races and their reported climb rates are: Bluff View Shuffle on August 7, 2026 - climb 100 feet per mile over 10K. Eagle Valley Scramble on August 14, 2026 - climb 130 feet per mile over 10K. Chubb Crawl on August 21, 2026 - climb 200 feet per mile over 10K.

Online registrations vary by selection. Online three‑race series registration includes a custom cotton/poly short‑sleeve t-shirt, a series finisher sticker that features all three races, and a post-race snack and cold beverage. Online pick‑two and individual race registrations include a race‑specific finisher sticker plus a post-race snack and beverage. Race day registration is available for individual series races for $75 cash only. Swag may be available for purchase at packet pick up for $15 cash only.

The event is part of a Trail Mix Fund partnership that began in December 2025; the fund may cover registration fees for runners who cannot afford them. The races follow a cup-free, zero waste pledge and participants are asked to bring a personal mess kit for post-race food. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
