Triple Crown Night Trail Run Series

Triple Crown 10K Night Trail Run Series : Wildwood, MO

The Triple Crown 10K Night Trail Run Series is a three-week set of 10K trail races hosted in the St. Louis West County area and organized by Terrain Trail Runners. The series takes place in August 2026 on three separate trail systems in or near Wildwood, MO. Each race is run at night with headlamps and is presented as a hill-progression format, with increasing elevation gain across the three events. Online registrations include race-specific finisher stickers and a post-race snack and cold beverage; the full three-race series registration also includes a custom unisex T-shirt.

Race day registration is offered for individual races only and is limited to cash payment. Swag may be available for purchase at packet pick up for a cash fee, subject to size availability.

The series is part of the Trail Mix Fund initiative, which can pay registration fees for runners who cannot afford them. Terrain Trail Runners began a partnership with the Trail Mix Fund in December 2025. Overall series performance awards for top male, female and non-binary performers are issued as a $50 online credit valid for use with Terrain Trail Runners for one year.
