The Ozark Scramble

The Ozark Scramble is a team-based obstacle run located at the Meramec Adventure Ranch in Steelville, Missouri. This event features a 9-mile course containing more than 50 obstacles. Participants work together in teams of between 3 and 25 people to navigate the terrain using leg and hand power. The course includes various physical challenges such as jumping, climbing, mud crawling, and swinging.

The route incorporates steep hills, ravines, and two swimming obstacles. Participants in the 9-mile event must be prepared to swim 150 meters; personal flotation devices (PFDs) are required and provided by the event, though participants may bring their own. Teams have a designated time limit of 6 hours to complete the trek. While moving through the course, each team is required to carry an egg provided by the organizers. No official timing is kept for the event.

A shorter option, the Scrambled-Over-Easy, is a 2.3-mile fun run obstacle course. This version is designed for younger participants or those seeking a shorter distance.
