The 3 Legged Monster Race, held in the Mark Twain National Forest near Steelville and Leasburg, Missouri, is a unique relay event featuring teams of two competing in running, mountain biking, and paddling. The race covers scenic trails of the Ozark Trail, including rolling hardwood forests, bluff overlooks, and pine groves. The mountain biking leg is an IMBA "epic" ride through diverse terrain, while the paddling leg follows crystal-clear creeks and the Meramec River to the finish line.
