The New Orleans Ultramarathon and Half

The event on October 24, 2026 takes place in New Orleans, LA and offers multiple race distances that run through the city and finish at Second Line Brewing (433 N Bernadotte St). The race uses marked public roads and is an open course, so participants must share the road with traffic.

Course navigation is provided with spray painted arrows, a Strava route sent by email after registration, and turn by turn instructions in Excel format. Packet pickup is available at Louisiana Running + Walking Co the day before the race; swag bags left for those who pick up on race morning will be available at the finish. Drop bags are allowed and will be transported to the 50K finish area.

Aid stations are intended to be fully stocked and to offer bathroom access, with some exceptions noted in race materials. Typical supplies include gels, electrolyte mixes, sports drinks, soda, basic first aid, and snacks. Awards include handmade podium trophies for the top three male and female in each distance and custom finisher medals. A monetary prize is offered for setting a new course record.
