The New Orleans Ultramarathon and Half

The event in New Orleans, LA offers three distance options: a 50 miler, a 50k, and a half marathon. All distances finish at Second Line Brewing (433 N Bernadotte St). The course is an open course on public roads; roads will not be closed and participants should use caution at busy intersections.

Course navigation includes spray painted arrows, a Strava route, and turn by turn instructions in Excel format. The Strava route is sent by email after registration and may be updated closer to race day.

Packet pickup is held at Louisiana Running + Walking Co. If a participant cannot attend packet pickup, a bib can be picked up on race morning and the swag bag will be available at the finish.

Aid stations will provide indoor bathrooms or porta potties and a typical selection of supplies including gels, electrolyte mixes, sports drinks, soda, basic first aid, snacks, fruit, and sunscreen. One aid station is fruit and water only and another aid station has no bathrooms; specific amenities are noted in official turn by turn instructions.

Awards include handmade awards for the top three male and female finishers in each distance and a custom finisher medal for all finishers. The race offers a monetary prize for new course records and verifies results via devices such as Strava or Garmin.

Pacers are permitted under the event rules. Drop bags are accepted and will be available at the 50k finish. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
