Race logistics and rules
The course is a trail loop inside the state park. There is one water station located at the finish area; participants are asked to bring their own hydration container because the event follows a bring-your-own-bottle and minimal-paper policy. Participant food will be provided by the New Orleans Mission. All participants receive a Santa hat, a t-shirt, and a hand-made medal. Attendees are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy for the New Orleans Mission toy giveaway.
The event prohibits dogs, pacers, baby strollers, bicycles, and earphones on the course. Companions and vehicles may only assist or access assigned start/finish areas. Runners must carry out trash and must not remove flora, fauna, rocks, or other natural items; failure to follow these rules may result in disqualification.
