About the race
Réveillon de Loup is a timed trail event held in Mandeville, LA, at Pelican Park Recreation Complex with much of the course on the Northlake Nature Center trails. Participants choose from the following durations:
- 12 hour event
- 6 hour event
- 3 hour event
The loop, called the Loup, is 3.33 miles long and consists mostly of shaded single track with a short section of concrete path and bike path. The trails are described as clean, non-technical, and nearly flat. Runners complete as many loops as they wish within their chosen time limit. The course will be clearly marked, remains open to the public, and a GPX file will be provided before the race.
Race-day logistics include race-day only packet pickup and check-in. Runners may set up small tents (10 x 10 or less) in a course-side area or use accessible parking lots; tent spots are first-come, first-served and setup before race day is not allowed. One parking lot offers direct course-side access while another requires a short walk off-course.
An aid tent at the Start area will offer nutrition, hydration, snacks, and themed meals throughout the event, plus a small water station mid-course. Organizers intend to provide vegan and gluten-free selections but recommend participants plan for specific needs. Crew and friends may assist at tent spaces or vehicles but may not accompany runners on the course. Pacer rules vary by event. Swag includes a race shirt and other items, with awards for top finishers and raffles for entrants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
