The Armadillo Dash 5K & Half Marathon Trail Run takes place on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the Bonnet Carré Spillway Trail in Norco, LA. The start and finish are at the Boat Launch Pavilion. Distances offered:

- Half Marathon (13.1 mi)
Registration includes a chip-timed race bib, a race shirt (short sleeve for 5K, long sleeve poly-cotton blend for half marathon), a custom finisher medal, and a beer ticket for the post-race celebration. Participants age 14 and under and 65 and over receive an automatic $7 registration discount. Online registration closes at noon on November 22, 2025; in-person registration is available at the site on race day.
Course and logistics
The courses are 100% trail with uneven, unpaved surfaces. The 5K is one full loop. The trail is described as having quick turns, short uphill and downhill sections of about 4-6 feet, and several wood bridge crossings. The course will be clearly marked, monitored by officials, and supported by multiple aid stations stocked with Kentwood Springs water and Gatorade. The event is chip-timed.
Course rules and amenities: dogs are not allowed on the course due to narrow single-track terrain but are permitted in the post-race area on leash; no strollers or headphones are allowed on course. Packet pickup is available Friday, November 21 at Urban South Brewery in New Orleans, with additional pickup on race day at the pavilion.
