The 2025 Woodlands 5k Trail Run is the 6th Annual Hike-a-Thon presented by Woodlands Conservancy. The 5k and 1-mile Fun Run take place on September 27, 2025. The Hike-A-Thon runs from October 1 through October 31, 2025. The event location is Woodlands Preserve, 449 F Edward Hebert Blvd, Belle Chasse, Louisiana. Fundraising information shows $2,906.09 raised toward a $5,000 goal (58% raised). The presenting sponsor is Ochsner Medical Center - West Bank Campus.

- 3.1 mi groomed trail loop (5k)

- 26.2 mi Hike-A-Thon (complete Oct 1-31)
- 5.43 mi Bottomland Trail (repeatable to reach marathon distance)
On-site packet pick-up and registration are available if the event is not sold out. Parking is at the Belle Chasse Primary/Elementary School lot; the Woodlands gravel lot is reserved for vendors and sponsors. Race bib numbers are used to manually record start and finish times. Participant items include a custom sweat towel and a Woodlands Conservancy annual membership for 5k and Fun Run entrants; all 5k finishers receive a finisher medal. Hike-A-Thon finishers and top milers receive memberships, a green drawstring backpack, and selected prize items. Male and female overall 5k winners receive a $130 gift certificate to Louisiana Running and Walking Co. Prizes for the Hike-A-Thon are distributed after the event at the Woodlands Conservancy office.
