Course and logistics

The course is undulating and mainly on paths, with one section on trail. The 5k is one lap, the 10k is two laps, and the half marathon is four laps plus an additional 1.1 km section. Buggies are permitted and the route is described as wheelchair friendly, though the trail section may affect accessibility. Starts are staggered to reduce congestion, and marshals will be positioned around the course. The event hub is in the Bowl area of Heaton Park.
