The Manchester Winter Warmer Run is a mass-participation running event at Heaton Park, The Bowl, Manchester, M25 2SW on 8 February 2026. Distances offered include a 5k, 10k and half marathon. The event supports the charity Shelter; fundraising is optional with no minimum target. Results are provided via ResultsBase and the event is not UK Athletics affiliated.

Course and access

The course is undulating and mainly on paths with one short section on trail. The distances are configured as:

  • 5k - one lap
  • 10k - two laps
  • Half marathon - four laps plus an additional 1.1 km section

The route is wheelchair friendly apart from the trail section. Buggies are permitted. The event hub is located in the Bowl within Heaton Park. Parking onsite is available but limited. The Heaton Park Metrolink stop is opposite the park; local bus services also serve the area.

Entries and race services

Entries close 27 January 2026 unless the event sells out; entry prices increase on 2 January 2026. Typical entry fees listed are £25 for the 5k and 10k, and £30 for the half marathon. The event uses chip-on-bib timing with instant results, and all finishers receive a medal. Race packs are collected at registration on event morning and bag storage, toilets, food and drink sales are available at the event hub. A standard cancellation, transfer and refund policy applies.
