Prestwich, United Kingdom • 8 Feb 2026

Event overview

The Manchester Winter Warmer Run is staged at Heaton Park, The Bowl, Manchester, M25 2SW. The event offers three distances:

  • 5k
  • 10k
  • Half marathon

All entries include chip-on-bib timing, a finish medal, and access to on-site snacks and drinks. Race packs are collected at registration on the day. Results are produced by ResultsBase and are available instantly at the event and online. The event is not UK Athletics affiliated so results will not appear on external UKA-linked sites.

Course, facilities and charity

The course is undulating and mainly on paths, with one section on trail. The 5k is one lap, the 10k two laps, and the half marathon four laps plus an additional 1.1 km section. Buggies are permitted and the route is described as wheelchair friendly, with a note about the trail section. The start will be staggered to reduce congestion and marshals will be positioned around the course. Bag storage and parking at the park are available but limited. Toilets, coffee and food sales are provided in the event hub.

The event supports the charity Shelter; fundraising is optional and there is no minimum target. Entry prices increase on 2 January 2026. Online entries close on 27 January 2026 unless the event sells out. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
