Race details
Participants choose one of the event formats:
- 5 Mile
- 3 Hour
- 6 Hour
Runners may complete a single 5-mile lap or run as many laps as they can within the chosen time-limited event. For a lap to count, it must be completed before the event time cutoff for the selected format. The start and finish are at the Jacobsburg State Park Equestrian Parking Lot near the Sobers Run trailhead.
Logistics and sustainability
The event is cupless; participants must supply their own hydration. Coolers of water will be available for refilling bottles between laps. The event is self-supported for fueling; runners may use a personal bin or bucket under 30 gallons near the start/finish for aid during 3H and 6H events. There is no limit on crew or support, and the event accepts spectators. The organizer applies a registration fee to offset carbon emissions and collects monetary and material donations for local conservation and charity partners. All finishers receive a race finisher pin; sustainable medals are awarded to top three in male, female, and non-binary categories. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
