Wind Gap, United States • 7 Nov 2026

Event details

The Long Run - Fall Back takes place in Wind Gap, PA, at Jacobsburg State Park Equestrian Parking Lot (near Sobers Run trailhead), 199 Belfast Road. The event offers the following options:

  • 5 Mile
  • 3H
  • 6H

Course and logistics

The event uses a roughly 5 mile loop around Jacobsburg State Park on a mixture of single track and gravel trails. The loop has approximately 450 feet of elevation change. The Fall Back edition runs the original course in reverse and is run clockwise from the start. For multi-hour events, laps count only if completed before each event's time cutoff. The event is cupless; participants must supply their own hydration. Coolers of water will be available to refill bottles between laps or before and after the event. Participants should provide their own fuel. Runners in the 3H and 6H events may use a bin or bucket under 30 gallons placed near the start/finish for their aid. There is no limit on crew or support and the event is spectator friendly. An adaptive athlete policy is available.

Awards and sustainability

All finishers receive a race finisher pin. Sustainable medals are awarded to the top three in male, female, and nonbinary categories. The event applies a $1 registration fee to offset participants' travel carbon emissions and partners with an offset project. Monetary donations for the Jacobsburg Environmental Education Center are collected. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
