The Long Run - Fall Back

The Long Run - Fall Back takes place at Jacobsburg State Park, with the start and finish at the Equestrian Parking Lot near the Sobers Run trailhead in Wind Gap, PA. The course is a roughly five mile loop composed of single track and gravel trails and includes about 450 feet of elevation change. This edition runs the original course in reverse, completing the loop clockwise.

Participants choose one event at registration. Available formats:

  • 5 mile loop
  • 3 hour timed event
  • 6 hour timed event

For timed events, laps count only if completed before the event time cutoff for the chosen duration. The event is described as runner, hiker, and walker friendly and includes an adaptive athlete policy.

Aid and support are self-managed. This is a cupless event; participants must provide their own hydration and fueling. Coolers of water will be available for refilling bottles between laps or before and after the event. Runners in the 3 hour and 6 hour events may use a personal bin or bucket under 30 gallons placed near the start/finish for aiding. There is no limit on crew or support on race day, and the venue is spectator friendly.

Awards include a race finisher pin for all finishers and sustainable medals for the top three in male, female, and non-binary categories.

The event is organized as a zero carbon event with a $1 registration offset for personal travel emissions and will collect donations for the Jacobsburg Environmental Education Center. Registration closes on Nov 6, 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
