Operation JERSEY X

Operation JERSEY X is an endurance event held at Mount Tammany in Hardwick Township, New Jersey. The course is designed around a repeating loop format where participants face increasing physical requirements as the event progresses. Each completed circuit increases in weight or difficulty, with the objective of determining a single top finisher for the gold award.

The event features a course with specific physical metrics for each lap:

  • 3.5 miles per loop
  • 1,220 ft elevation gain per loop

Participants can choose between two primary divisions within the X Series format. The X HEAVY division focuses on escalating weight endurance loops, requiring participants to carry additional weight as they complete successive laps. The second division is X ENDURANCE, which follows the same course structure.

The event takes place in the outdoor terrain of Columbia, New Jersey. The structure emphasizes sustained physical output over several hours, utilizing the natural elevation of the mountain to create a consistent vertical gain for every lap completed.
