The Highlander Last One Standing is a unique endurance event held at the scenic Blair Castle Estate in Blair Atholl, Pitlochry. Participants must complete a 4.167-mile loop every hour, on the hour, with a 400ft elevation gain, continuing until only one runner remains. The course, though not flat, is manageable within the one-hour time limit.

Runners are supported at the start/finish area with aid stations and can camp onsite. The event emphasizes stamina over speed, with awards for the last male and female standing, and medals for those reaching 24 hours. It offers a challenging and atmospheric test of endurance in a historic Scottish setting. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
