Trail races at Dalkeith Country Park on Sunday 10 May 2026 include a junior 1 km, a 5K and a 10K. The chip timed event is volunteer run, awards handmade medals, and raises funds for MYPAS youth services.

A 5k obstacle event at Beveridge Park on 10 May 2026 where participants climb, crawl and slide around a looped course with steep hills. Entry includes a medal and fundraising support, with a minimum fundraising target of £50.

A 3.4k hill race with 400 m ascent near Strathyre, held on 13 May 2026 as part of the Bog'n'Burn Series. Entries are via SiEntries, minimum age 14, with prize categories from U18 to V80.

Experience a monthly trail running series at the base of Bennachie featuring four 5 km races through forest tracks. Compete for the best overall time in this evening summer event held near the Bennachie Visitor Centre.

Uphill only 7.2 km race to the summit of Glas Tulaichean with 670 m of ascent on double track and open hill sections. The event is organised under Scottish Athletics and Scottish Hill Runners rules with kit and age requirements.

A 400 km, eight day expedition through remote Highland landscapes from Knoydart and Kintail to Cape Wrath, with daily tented camps. The Cape Wrath 100 offers a three day version covering the final stages.

Test your limits at the MacTuff Really Muddy 5k and 10k in Aberdeen. Navigate a course of mud water and obstacles to receive your technical T shirt and finishers medal.

A muddy outdoor run at Castle Fraser on 17 May 2026 offering 3 km for kids and adults plus 5 km and 10 km for adults. The route crosses bogs, pools and forest terrain; participants receive a t-shirt and a custom medal.

A trail race in Balbirnie Park, Markinch on 17 May 2026, covering between 4 and 4.5 miles on paths and woodland trails. All finishers receive a medal and prizes are awarded across overall and age categories.

A Race for Life event at Hopetoun House offering a chip timed 10k plus 5k and 3k options on mostly gravel and forestry paths. There is a minimum fundraising target of £50 and designated parking on the estate.

A one-lap hill race in Perth on 21 May 2026 covering approx. 7 km with 243 m of climb. Registration is at Kinnoull Church Hall; competitors must be 16 or older and carry basic safety kit.

A community fun run in Kintore on a 5 km route starting and finishing at Kintore School playing fields. No official timing or prizes, a medal is given to every entrant and children must be accompanied by an adult.

Kirkhill 8 is a trail loop event at Kirkhill Forest where runners repeat a 4.3 mile lap over eight hours to target any total distance. The event required pre entry, a minimum kit list and a minimum age of 18.

Community trail run in Tomatin with 5k and 10k routes on rural, undulating roads and paths, two to three water stations, medals for finishers and trophies for fastest categories; minimum age 4 with under 10s accompanied by an adult.

A functional fitness racing event at Aberdeen Sports Village on 25 May 2026 featuring ten Xercises and repeated running. Solo, doubles and five-person relay formats with two distance options and a LITE weight division.

Blair Castle Trail Weekender is a three day trail event in Blair Atholl from 29 to 31 May 2026. Official timing is provided and race day results will be published.

A point to point 96 mile ultra along the West Highland Way from Fort William to Milngavie with nine support locations and race trackers. An optional Ben Nevis extension raises the distance to 107 miles and adds significant mountain ascent.

Chariots of Fire Beach Race is a 5 km out and back on West Sands, St Andrews, with a 1 mile children's fun run. The event uses chip timing, offers post race refreshments and raises funds for RNLI and local charities.

June 2026

A summer evening 5 km series across three Edinburgh parks with chip timing, marked courses, finisher medals and category prizes. Enter single races for £12 each or all three for £30.

A 31 miles ultra around Loch Lyon and into Glen Lochay with about 3,500 ft of ascent. The mostly off road route includes several river crossings, multiple water checkpoints and mandatory kit requirements.
