The Dark Side of the Mynd

The Dark Side of the Mynd is a measured trail race held at Belmore Farm, Ratlinghope, Shropshire. The course covers 6.7 km / 4.2 miles with approximately 250 m of ascent. The event is held in memory of Adrian Donnelly and raises money for Severn Hospice.

Parking is available in the bottom field. Food and drinks are available on site for cash and proceeds go to Severn Hospice. Entries have a published entry fee of £7.00, with entry on the day available for £10 in cash subject to entry limits.

A summer trail event on Saturday 20 June 2026 along the Mortimer Trail between Kington and Ludlow, offering an approximately 30 mile multi-terrain ultra and a Croft Half that follows the final section of the route.
