Tame the Tower Trail Challenge
Lebanon, United States • 13 Dec 2025
Event overview
Tame the Tower Trail Challenge takes place on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Clarence Schock Memorial Park in Lebanon, Pennsylvania (3283 Pinch Road). The event offers two trail race distances and is the second annual running of this event. One hundred percent of race proceeds will go back into the park for trail maintenance, park safety measures, and improvements to the education center. Past park projects funded by the event include a new water fountain and a mud kitchen.
Course, logistics, and awards
The event uses marked trails around Mt. Gretna and the surrounding mountain. Parking is available at Governor Dick Park on a first-come, first-served basis; when that lot fills, participants will be directed to a Mount Gretna lot with a van shuttle service. The race proceeds in all weather and does not offer refunds. Results and timing are provided by Pretzel City Sports.
Distances:
- 10 mile - marked with pink flags; about 1500 feet total elevation gain
- 5 mile - marked with yellow flags; about 850 feet total elevation gain
Awards include cash prizes for the top overall male and female in each distance and recognition for top male and female finishers in each age group. Registration closes on December 6, 2025. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
