Naked Nick

Naked Nick is a trail ultramarathon held near Blue Marsh Lake in Leesport, PA, offering two distance options.

  • 50K
  • 25K

The course is on the south side of Blue Marsh Lake and follows a lollipop layout: 5.5 miles out, a 4.5 mile loop, and 5.5 miles back. The 50K covers that loop twice with access to drop bags at mile 15.5. Trail surface is roughly 80% single track and 20% gravel road. Trail conditions may include snow, ice, or mud at this time of year.

Aid stations are positioned at miles 3, 6, 10, 13, 15.5, 18.5, 21.5, 25.5, and 28.5. Gatorade and water will be available at all aid stations; runners are advised to carry a bottle and bring any personal gels they rely on.

Timing uses tear-off bibs and participants must keep their bib visible on the front at all times. Runners must complete the distance they entered and cannot drop to a shorter distance during the event. A time limit applies to all entrants, which makes the 25K accessible to hikers.

Entry fees are $39 for the 25K and $49 for the 50K. Refunds are available with conditions until 11/15; after that date entries are final though bib transfers are allowed with organizer approval up to one week prior. Awards include a German style finisher memento and top overall and age group prizes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
