Summer Sundown Rundown at Kempton
Sundown Rundown is an evening trail circuit run held at 83 Community Center Drive, Kempton, PA 19529. The event closes out a Summer Camp weekend and runs lap by lap on a roughly 1.6 mile trail loop. Runners begin each lap together and must complete the full loop before a cutoff time. The first lap has a 20 minute cutoff and the allowed time shortens on subsequent laps. If a runner misses a cutoff, their run for the night ends.
There is no set finish distance or finish time. The field naturally thins as laps continue and remaining runners continue to start each lap together until only one runner remains. The course format makes the meeting place and lap structure central to the event experience.

Registration opens 11/24/2025 and closes 08/01/2026. The standard registration fee is $25.00 and juniors up to age 16 race for $10. Cash, credit card, and Venmo are accepted on the day of the event. Limited parking is available onsite and carpooling is encouraged. Bright Path Brewing Company is a sponsor and beer is complimentary to participants aged 21 and over. USATF sanction is listed as TBD.
