Summer Sundown Rundown at Kempton
The event is an evening trail endurance format run held at 83 Community Center Drive, Kempton, PA. Participants run repeated circuits of a roughly 1.6 mile trail loop. All remaining runners begin each lap together and must complete the full loop before the lap cutoff time.
The first lap has a 20 minute cutoff. After that, the cutoff shortens by 30 seconds each completed lap. Runners who fail to complete a lap before the cutoff are removed from the event. There is no predetermined race distance or finish time; the event proceeds lap by lap until only one runner remains.
Registration information is provided in advance. Registration opens 11/24/2025 and closes 6/23/2026. The standard registration fee is $25 and juniors up to age 16 race for $10. On the day of the event cash, credit card, and Venmo will be accepted. Parking is limited onsite and carpooling is encouraged.
The evening includes post-run food and social elements such as burgers and s'mores.
