Slopeside Slumber Party

Slopeside Slumber Party is an event at Roundtop Mountain Resort in Lewisberry, PA featuring a timed main event and a separate kids race. The main event runs for three hours and uses a roughly 1.5 mile loop that includes 600 feet of elevation gain. The loop is about 0.5 miles of pavement and 1 mile of mowed grass, with a steep climb to the highest point in York County and a very steep, lit descent. Trail shoes are recommended for the descent and headlamps are required for unlit sections.

Participants receive a pog each time they complete a loop. The top three finishers in the main event receive slammers. Main event registration is $40 and is limited to 150 runners. Kids race registration is $5 and is limited to 40 runners; the kids course covers roughly one mile with hills and is for children aged 12 and under, with adult companions allowed if a waiver is signed.

Registration includes access to a stocked aid station, swag, restroom facilities, and on-course volunteer support. Food and beverages are available for purchase by card. Free tent camping at Gifford Pinchot State Park is included with registration for the weekend. Event rules note that headphones are allowed, hiking poles are optional, bibs must be visible, no course cutting is permitted, and pets are not allowed.
