The Knight Ruck is an evening ruck march scheduled for Friday, September 25, 2026, at the Gov. Dick Environmental Center, 3283 Pinch Rd., Mt. Gretna, PA 17064. The event features timed courses and divisions for adults and juniors.

Weighted ruck requirements differ by age group. Adult participants use a 35 lb ruck without water weight. Junior participants carry 20% of body weight without water weight. Participation without a ruck is allowed, but only weighted ruck marchers are eligible for prizes. Prizes are awarded to the top two finishers in the 8 mile, 4 mile, and junior divisions.

Entry fees are stated by age: Adult (16 and older) $45 and Junior (up to 15) $35. Recommended items for participants include a ruck, a headlamp, and a water source. Proceeds from the event are divided between The Knights of the Kingdom and Gov. Dick.

A four-event summer trail series in Lancaster County that is not a race. Participants choose their distance on local trails and return to a Common tent for breakfast, hydration, and social time.

A three hour looped trail event at Roundtop Mountain Resort featuring a roughly 1.5 mile loop with 600 feet of climb, a steep lit descent, and separate kids and main races with limited entries and weekend tent camping.

A community trail series meeting one Saturday each month through the summer, with three mornings and a sunset closing. Participants pick their own distance and return to a shared tent for breakfast, drinks, and company.
