First Light / Last Light A Common Trail Series - Lancaster County

This series is not a race. There is no clock, no bib, and no finish time. The format is three morning gatherings and one evening closing on local trails, combined with a shared tent that offers food and drinks.

Events take place one Saturday a month through the summer with these dates and locations: June 20 at Historic Rock Ford on the Lancaster County Park trail system, July 25 at Endo Collective on the Marietta River Trail, August 22 at Historic Rock Ford, and September 5 at Endo Collective for a sunset gathering with fire pits and s'mores.

Included at the gatherings are breakfast from a griddle with eggs and pancakes, water for participants, and Common hydration poured at the tent. For the Labor Day wellness event the morning meal is switched to grilling items. Participants choose their own distance and pace on open trails and return to the tent to eat, drink, and stay a while.

Registration can be purchased per event or as a multi event pass that includes a bandana and access through September. The listed single event fee for the August session is $30. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
