First Light / Last Light A Common Trail Series - Lancaster County

This series is a set of four informal trail gatherings held one Saturday a month through the summer. It is not a race: there is no clock, no bib, and no official finish time. The program includes three morning meetings and a final sunset gathering on Labor Day weekend with fire pits and s'mores.

Dates and locations are listed for the four events: Historic Rock Ford at the Lancaster County Park trail system, and Endo Collective on the Marietta River Trail along the Susquehanna. Historic Rock Ford offers woods, a creek, and a climb to an overlook. Endo Collective provides a flat, open, riverside trail.

Participants run or walk whatever distance they choose and then return to the Common tent. Food and drink are provided at the tent, typically breakfast from a griddle such as eggs and pancakes, water, and Common hydration. The Labor Day event switches from breakfast to grilling items. Registration can be per event or via a multi event pass that includes a bandana and access through September. The per event fee is $30. Participants should bring themselves and shoes suitable for trail running. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
