First Light / Last Light A Common Trail Series - Lancaster County

This is not a race. There is no clock, no bib, and no finish time. The series consists of three morning gatherings and one evening event on local trails. Each gathering includes a Common tent with a griddle and cold drinks.

The events take place one Saturday a month through the summer. Participants run whatever distance they choose on the trail and return to the tent to eat, drink, and stay a while. The schedule and locations are: June 20 at Historic Rock Ford, Lancaster County Park trails; July 25 at Endo Collective, Marietta River Trail; August 22 at Historic Rock Ford; and September 5 at Endo Collective in Marietta with sunset, fire pits, and s'mores.

Registration is available per event or as a multi event pass that covers all four dates. The single-event registration fee is $30. The multi event pass includes a bandana and access through September.

Included on event mornings are breakfast from the griddle with eggs and pancakes, water for everyone, and Common hydration poured at the tent. For the Labor Day wellness event breakfast items are replaced with grilling items. Participants should bring themselves and trail shoes; distance and pace are chosen by each participant. Historic Rock Ford offers woods, creek, and a climb to an overlook. Endo Collective uses the river trail along the Susquehanna, which is flat and open.
