Taconic Road Runners FDR Park Cross Country Run is a cross-country race held in Yorktown Heights, New York, at FDR Park. The event features a 6K course that includes almost two miles of the park’s trail system, with most of the route on soft surfaces across flat fields and picnic areas near the Taconic State Parkway. The Taconic Road Runners Club is hosting its first cross-country race in over 30 years, and proceeds from the event are donated to the park. Participants receive commemorative running gloves, and awards go to the top finishers in each 10-year age group, plus the top overall and masters (40 and over) 3-person teams.
