The Tarrywile Half Marathon takes place on November 16, 2025 at Tarrywile Park, 70 Southern Blvd., Danbury, Connecticut. The event includes three distances:

  • Marathon (four loops)
  • Half Marathon (two loops)
  • 10K (one loop)

Registration prices vary by date with a listed range from $35 to $90. Registration closes on November 15. Race headquarters is in the park next to the Red Barn across from the silo. Parking is available in the lower gravel lot at Tarrywile, across the street at Immaculate High School, and on Washington Avenue adjacent to the park.

Course, aid and rules

The course is on trails and single-track with rocky, rooty, and hilly sections. Total elevation is listed as 1500'+ for the 10K, 3K+ for the Half Marathon, and 6K+ for the Marathon. Aid stations will offer water, electrolyte drink, and typical food items; there will be at least one aid station on course in addition to start/finish. The event is a cupless race, so participants must carry their own hydration bottle, pack, or cup.

Finisher medals are provided and awards include Top 3 overall male and female in each race. A $500 cash bonus is offered to the first male under 1:45 and the first female under 2:00 in the Half Marathon. Rules note no littering, no bib transfers, mandatory course following, and a request to avoid headphones for safety.
