The event is a set of trail races held in Tarrywile Park in Danbury, CT. The course runs on Northeast single track and other park trails, with rocky, rooty and hilly sections. The route includes viewpoints of Danbury and the park lakes.

The 10K is one loop, the Half Marathon is two loops, and the Marathon is four loops using many different types of trails. Total elevation gain is roughly 1500+ ft for the 10K, 3000+ ft for the Half Marathon, and 6000+ ft for the Marathon. Organizers note that runners can expect to add about 30 to 45 minutes compared with a road half marathon time.
Hikers and walkers are permitted in the 10K and Half Marathon but must be able to finish within a 7 hour time limit. Registration is subject to a no refund and no transfer policy; entry fees support event preparation, supplies, permits, and administration. Registration closes the day before the event at 11:59 PM ET.
Awards and post race provisions include finisher medals, sponsor goodies, top three overall male and female awards in each distance, and a $600 cash bonus to the first male under 1:45 and the first female under 2:00 in the Half Marathon.
