Overview
8 Hours at the Farm is a timed trail running event presented by Steep Endurance on November 2 in Brookfield, Connecticut. The event is held at Gurski Farm / Williams Park with race headquarters and the start/finish located in the back fields at Brookfield High School. The course uses an approximately 4 mile loop composed of single track and rolling farm trails on generally non-technical terrain. This year marks the fifth running of the event.

Entry fees are tiered by registration date and vary by event, with early, mid, and late pricing brackets. A portion of registration proceeds will go to two local Brookfield non-profits. The organizer’s refund policy states there are no refunds and no transfers of registration or bibs.
Aid is available at the start/finish aid station with water, electrolyte drink, and typical food items (chips, pretzels, candy). The event is cupless; runners must carry their own hydration bottle, pack, or cup. Finishers receive a specially designed medal from Ragged Cuts and additional swag; awards are provided for top overall male and female finishers and other podium places as noted for each event.
