8 Hours at the Farm

8 Hours at the Farm is a timed trail event held at Gurski Farm / Williams Park in Brookfield, CT. The event takes place on a rolling country course that includes single track and farm trails. The terrain is fairly rolling and not highly technical.

8 Hour and 4 Hour participants complete a continuous four mile loop that mixes single track and farm trails. The 5K and 5K Canicross run a modified version of this loop. Distances offered include:

A portion of registration fees supports two local Brookfield non-profit organizations. The event policy states there are no refunds and no transfers of registration or bibs to other individuals.

Finisher medals are provided by Ragged Cuts and additional sponsor items are distributed as part of event swag. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers in each distance.

Food is available throughout the day and beverage options include products from Athletic Brewing Company along with other non-alcoholic offerings.
