Event details

The Ridge Reaper Trail Runs is scheduled for August 1, 2026 at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation in Cross River, New York. The reservation is a 4,000+ acre preserve about 50 miles north of New York City. The organizer offers multiple distances, entry fees that increase by date, and downloadable GPX course files. The event has a no-refund, no-transfer policy for race entries. Finishers receive specially designed medals and there are podium awards for the top three overall male and female finishers in each distance.

Course and logistics

Trails are mostly wooded and include both technical singletrack and wider carriage roads. The route is described as largely runnable, with shorter climbs that lead to ridge views. The park’s northern section is more technical in the first 5-6 miles, while the southern section has more carriage-road doubletrack and increased elevation.
