Event Format

The Stow Maries Trail Challenge is a 6-hour trail running event. Runners set their own targets by completing as many loops as they can within the time limit. Only laps finished within the 6 hours count.

Course Details

The route is a loop of just over 5K (3.3 miles). Approximately 95% of the course is off-road, following footpaths through fields and vineyards, with occasional views across the River Crouch. The course is fully marked with tape and arrows.

Facilities and Logistics

There is one checkpoint on the loop, which runners pass every 5K. The event is chip-timed. Bags can be left at the start/finish area, which is located next to a car park near the aerodrome entrance.

Recognition

Every runner who completes at least one lap receives a medal.

Rules and Regulations
