Course and race day information

The route leaves Heathside Sports Ground, follows the river into Westminster Fields, then proceeds via Dartford/Hawley Road toward Franks Lane, crosses fields to join The Street at the bottom of Rays Hill, and continues past Westminster Fields and Bull Hill. The course then follows Horton Road past the church and school, crosses Jacobs Lane, uses diagonal footpaths to Skinney Lane and Rabbits Road, includes a short road loop via Wilson Lane and Gills Road, crosses Gills Farm footpaths, and returns to Heathside via a footpath near the Rabbits Road and East Hill junction.

Race numbers are collected inside the registration room of the Village Hall (DA4 9AZ), about 100 m beyond the Heathside Park entrance; numbers are emailed in advance and can be provided or a name given at registration. Safety pins, toilets, changing and bag storage space are available in the village hall. Marshals cover major junctions. Roads are not closed - runners must keep to the left-hand side; outriders (cyclists) and signage will support the event. Refreshments will be available inside the village hall. All finishers receive a medal, snack and water; prizes are awarded to first, second and third placed finishers. Photos and videos will be taken; an opt-out disclaimer is provided.
