Course Overview
The South Darenth & Horton Kirby 10K is a mixed-terrain race. The route starts at the Heathside Sports Ground in South Darenth (DA4 9AZ). It follows a mix of roads and country trails along the River Darent and through fields and countryside around the villages, passing points like Westminster Fields, Franks Lane, and farmland near Gills Farm. The course is not closed to traffic; participants are instructed to keep to the left-hand side.
Event Details
Race number collection is inside the registration room of the Village Hall, located 100 meters from the Heathside Park entrance. The Village Hall provides toilets, a changing area, and bag storage. Marshals will be present at major junctions, and cyclist outriders will support runners on the route. Photos and videos will be taken during the event.
Post-Race
All finishers receive a bespoke medal, a snack, and water. Prizes are awarded for the first, second, and third placed runners. Official times will be posted on the organizer's website by the end of the race weekend. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
