Easter Eggstravaganza Day 3

Little Baddow, United Kingdom • 5 Apr 2026

Easter Sunday Trail 2026

The Easter Sunday Trail serves as the third day of the Easter Eggstravaganza Trail Series. Organized by the Little Baddow Ridge Runners, the event takes place at the Little Baddow Sports Field. Participants navigate through trail routes that are not physically marked and do not feature on-course marshals or GPX files. Instead, runners follow a written narrative description provided on the day of the event.

Timing is recorded at both the start and the finish, as there is no mass start for the participants. The event is licensed by The Trail Running Association and follows UKA regulations, which include a minimum age requirement of 17 years and a policy that does not permit running with dogs.

The available distances for this event include:

  • 5 mile self navigation trail
  • 11 mile self navigation trail

There are no planned aid or drink stations along the routes unless weather conditions are exceptionally hot. Runners are expected to carry their own necessary supplies. After completing the course, snacks and refreshments are provided in the Cricket Pavilion. A large parking area is located at Riffhams Chase, though car sharing is encouraged to manage space. Results are published online following the conclusion of the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
