Easter Eggstravaganza Day 2

The Easter Eggstravaganza Day 2 is a trail running event held on a Saturday in the Felsted area. This event forms part of a four-day trail series coordinated by multiple clubs, including Mid Essex Casuals, Little Baddow Ridge Runners, Springfield Striders, and Essex Trail Events. Participants who compete in at least three of the four days are eligible for prizes based on their cumulative performance.

The event offers two approximate distances:

  • 9 miles
  • 5 miles

These are self-navigation trail races that operate without marshals or course markings. Runners are provided with a written route description on the day of the event to navigate the course. There are no GPX files available, and it is not a mass-start event; instead, participants are timed individually from their start to the finish.

The race is conducted under UK Athletics rules. Registration includes a voucher for use at the venue on the day of the race. Parking is available at the site, specifically in the area opposite the Chequers. Dogs are not permitted to participate in this event. The age requirement is over 17 for the longer distance and over 16 for the shorter distance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
