Event Information
The Mersea Mix is a 7-mile trail event presented by Essex Trail Events on 1 March 2026. The event operates under UK Athletics rules, and dogs are not permitted. Entry is limited to 150 participants, with a minimum age of 17.
Course and Format
This is a self-navigation trail race. A written route description is provided on the day; the course is not marked, and there are no marshals or a GPX file available. It is not a mass-start event. Participants choose an individual start time and are timed as they finish. The race headquarters is located in the car park.
Practical Details
Entry costs £9 for affiliated runners and £11 for unaffiliated runners, plus a booking fee. The fee includes a £4 voucher to use at the venue's bar on the day. There is ample parking at Waldegraves Holiday Park, the event venue. Results will be posted on the Essex Trail Events website.
To allow friends to run together, one person can book multiple entries. However, full details for all additional participants must be provided before the closing date. There are no refunds except in the case of event cancellation. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
